Mind maps can make any idea easier to understand, regardless of its complexity. They can illustrate anything from a simple To-do list to a well prepared business plan. MindVisualizer Standard can be used to draw such mind maps. It allows you to create and organize any number of nodes and sub-nodes, customize them with different colors and icons or edit them as tasks in a To-do list.

The software is free to try for a limited time period, during which you will not encounter any restricted functions. It provides support for Windows 2000 and all later editions, up to Windows 7 and it can be installed in a matter of seconds. Besides that, you don't have to sacrifice too many resources or meet any special requirements.

Once you launch the program, you can choose to create a blank project and start from scratch or open a template and modify it according to your needs. A central topic is created automatically when you start a new project. You can attach one or more main topics to the central one, create sub-topics, sub-sub-topics and so on. Besides typing on nodes, you can also insert icons and images from the application's library or from your local folders.

Icons and images can be selected on the right side of the interface, where you can also edit selected nodes as tasks. You may select task statuses and priorities, specify contexts and progress percentages and plan dates and durations. It is also possible to change the shape and color and font for each node and select different connection lines for their sub-nodes. Additionally, the software allows you to create relations between two nodes, even if they are not connected.

Mind maps can be saved in MindVisualizer's native format, but you can also export your mind maps in other formats and send them by email. The software provides support for numerous output formats, including MS Word, Powerpoint or other Office formats, PDF, JPG, BMP and others.

Pros

Mind maps can be created and customized without any effort. You can apply different colors, fonts, shapes and more. When it comes to exporting a mind map, the software allows you to choose from a wide variety of output formats.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to mention. If you wish to illustrate your thoughts and ideas and make them easy to understand, MindVisualizer Standard is exactly what you need.
